Dr. Carmen M. Cochran, PsyD, DLLP, LPC, ACS | Licensed Psychologist, Consultant & Speaker

I'm Dr. Carmen, a limited licensed clinical psychologist, CEO and Executive Director with nearly 15 years of experience in trauma, interpersonal relationships, and organizational restorative practices.

As a trauma therapist and corporate restorative practices consultant, I have firsthand experience navigating the intricate personal and organizational dynamics that contribute to burnout, compassion fatigue, and secondary trauma.

My dual expertise as a licensed clinician and organizational wellness consultant allows me to equip leaders and organizations with the tools and strategies needed to break the stigma surrounding mental health and prioritize self-care for professionals, not just clients. As a result, organizations benefit from increased productivity, improved mental well-being, higher employee retention, and stronger workplace relationships.

I specialize in guiding organizations through workplace stress, trauma, and burnout. Through consulting, professional development workshops, self-care intensives, and training, I equip professionals with practical tools to enhance communication, align personal and workplace values, implement healing-centered restorative practices, and engage in sustainable self-care.

I have collaborated with the Michigan Department of Labor, Friend of the Court, local schools and universities, municipal offices, fire and law enforcement agencies, parents, and organizations to foster healthier, more thriving, and restorative environments.

Signature topics include:

  • Self-care strategies for High-Achieving People;

  • Leadership & mental health: How to support without micromanaging;

  • Leading through Trauma

  • Compassion without Burnout, and

  • Ethical Self-Care in Trauma & Crisis Work
